I’m actually happy that Kody Clemens got some success…that guy spent a lot of time in the minors and growing up as the son of Rocket and not being a pitcher and not being very damn good for a long time had to completely suck.

Apparently being demoted back to AAA hasn’t had much effect of Tater Workman. Hitting .366 with an OPS of 1.050 while with Toledo.

The Tigers are playing good baseball all of a sudden. Add a big bat, move Montero and Melton to the bullpen to help shore that up, and we might be able to climb back into this thing. Especially since the entire AL Central sucks ass.

Lol you posted 6 names. Thats not a 5 man rotation.
Its not a terrible idea to go with a 6 man rotation but when your bully sucks as bad as ours I feel like you can use that extra arm to better the bullpen in a major way. Melton especially has the type of stuff that would be amazing in high leverage, late inning situations.

I wouldn’t be upset if they kept Melton in the rotation and moved Flaherty to the bully. Jack has been very good early in his starts. Especially getting the strikeouts. He might be ideal to come in and get you a couple of big K’s to get out of a jam. Its his 3rd time through a lineup that us killing him so maybe a big role, in a high leverage bully situation would be the way to go.
