Two Detroit Lion players rank top 10 in Jersey sales

Hutch at #4
St Brown at #6

Stroud is #1 so I guess he has finally beaten Hutch.

No Lamar is interesting, I would’ve expected him to be up there.

Not until he makes a deep playoff run

Caleb Williams #2? That sounds more like his play… There’s going to be a lot of kindling for the bonfires over in Chicago soon. We will be able to see the glow from across the lake.

I can say I contributed to both Amon Ra and Hutch jerseys.

I have never bought a jersey in my life.
Not from the Lions
Not from the Tigers
Not from Pistons(80/90s)
Not from UM

Just never done it and don’t see it changing now. Tshirts absolutely.

Hutch has a massive following due to him playing in his hometown for both college and pros. And UM has a massive fan base so I would expect his to have some staying power.

I would be interested to see what percentage of sales for ARST is over seas. Like does he lead the league in EU sales.

I will be shocked and also disappointed if the Lions are not playing a game next season in Germany. Dude is like the poster child for the NFL in Germany. The game hype would be insane. How many NFL players can you send to a game in Germany who can do an interview in German? I mean outside of himself and EQ who else. I am sure there is a couple of other dudes but I would guess the number is below 10. And could be only 2…LOL.

Good point on St Brown European sales, hadn’t considered that.

this is more impressive because the lions sales are being split between two players (at the top). You know 90% of KC sales are Mahommes and Bears sales are Williams as examples. Bottom line is Detroit sales must be really high.

I’d buy Sewell 1st and Branch 2nd if I cared about jersey swag. I rock my #9 Stafford jersey which I turned into a Jamo with a little duct tape. :joy:

I’m with Gibby & Foxy for my first picks of who I’d buy…cuz I already have my first choice → Coach Dan.

They need to make a sonic and knuckles jersey. I don’t buy jerseys but that would be epic.

What does @JerseyJungle put on the back of his jersey? #69 with name Jersey is my best guess.

It’s pretty interesting that the top 6 contain the following:

Mahomes (Most popular NFL player)

Two rookies (#1 and #2 overall pick)

Three players whose team got a new jersey
style this season (Lions and Texans)

And then the #7 player is the most popular player on the league’s most popular team.

If I get a Jersey, it’ll be a black Spielman 54.

I will get a Sanders throwback, eventually.

So for me this is expected. I am sure this stat is the last 12 months or the calendar year 2024. So of course rookie QBs drafted high will get a ton of jersey sales.
The ARST and Hutch are more interesting and show some real star power. Along with Crosby. Mahomes sales will probably stay in the top 10 as many think (myself included) that he could somehow beat TB12s records. I have a feeling that the Lions are going to have a huge say in if he does that. Imagine P-Man records if NE was not such a juggernaut. So this is going to be interesting and the Lions will be the team to stand in his way.

Truly a dazzling example of how primitive men’s humor can be.

Good thing the Canucks don’t go any further than Joe Louis Arena.
