He’s really a situational pass rusher, and doesn’t have the size that we like on the end.
I still would have been ok with him though.

I had zero interest in this player. Much better fit for KCs def. But it is an example again of Veach reading the tea leaves. They’ll likely be back in the final game. Let’s see if our GM has this ability.

Yea we need defensive ends….not LBers who can rush the passer, unless they are a proven pass rusher.

Yep I get that.
I also wouldn’t mind adding a sam with some pass rushing chops, which he would have done.
I’m not heartbroken that we didn’t get him though. Not by any means.
KC gave up 2026 6th which is what I thought

He was never a fit with us as an edge. As a SAM, maybe, but that is not where our crying need is.

Z. Smith, yes. Landry has the same issues Uche did. For us, edge rushers that small are SAM LBs. Landry is not an edge-setter.

What is Brad doing?! Just standing on the sidelines? I wish we had a real GM like KC. They’ve won TWO Superbowls in a row and are currently 7-0 and have made TWO trades in the last two weeks to make their better for guys that will help them and BRAD is doing nothing and we lost Hutch! I can see that BRAD is a SCOUTING GM only and doesn’t know what he’s doing in the NFL!
