In his last season with Marshall, Beckett racked up numerous honors; he was Conference USA’s Defensive Player of the Year, as well as making the All-Conference First Team.

In 2020, Beckett totaled 90 tackles, 7.5 TFLs, 2.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 4 fumble recoveries (1st in the country) during the 2020 season. According to Pro Football Focus, he ranked 21st among linebackers (20% snap minimum) with an Overall grade of 79.6 (79.5 Run Defense, 69.7 Tackling, 76.5 Pass Rush, 70.5 Coverage). Could be tried as a safety.

Re: Adams. 6-3, 220.

Arkansas State wide receiver Jonathan Adams Jr. exploded during his senior season with the Red Wolves, logging more than 1,100 yards in 10 games and showcasing some really high-level ball skills in the process. Adams Jr. is a physical menace at the catch point who bullies defenders in coverage and plays with the kind of attitude and confidence that you would expect to find in a stereotypical possession receiver. Adams Jr. wins as a vertical threat as well, showcasing back-shoulder prowess and high point ability that allow him to pluck the football out of the vicinity of defenders and create explosive plays down the field. This isn’t an overly polished route-runner and as a result Adams Jr. may require some patience upon his entry into the NFL in order to live up to his potential—but he’s got the leaping ability and ball skills to become a valuable asset down the road. Despite a limited resume returning kicks as a freshman, don’t look for or expect such a role in the NFL, as he doesn’t have the kind of build or short-area agility to really shine in the return game.

Depending on how raw he is, he’s at the very least a near-surety to make the Practice Squad.

Oh wow, already with UDFA’s, nice.

Jumping ability and fierce competitor for ball could make him at least early on a valuable redzone guy

Former Kansas State CB AJ Parker is signing with the #Lions, per source.

Wiry corner, weighing 182 pounds. Inside-outside, man-zone experience. Potentially valuable versatility for a practice squad spot.

He’s pretty damn polished. He’s kind of Travis Fulham like but more refined. Good with contested catches. Has some explosion but lacks top end speed and agility.
