This is a passing league now. HB is obsolete.
Actually we screwed up by HAVING a HB/FB that couldn’t catch or run. You get one that can catch the ball and be that lead blocker and I pity the D that has to go up against our OC.

In terms of UDFA’s
RB - Blake Watson and Tyrone Tracy are converted receivers. They can bolster the bottom of our roster and be a gadget player who can help in both the run and pass game.
RB - Isaac Guerendo is another possibility. He is more of a vertical downhill runner but he has receiving ability.
Keep an eye out for the Lions to go RB either late or as UDFA’s.

Was gonna say the same thing. I think a lot of UDFA’s and their agents will pass on the Lions for that exact reason

I’d love to land that kicker from Alabama. I think he gets drafted though.
I think a few OL UDFA will be interested for the reasons we see here on the board.

Laube as well. Maybe Smith if you want to go that route with him. Laube is the best in pass pro IMO. Don’t know that he ever played WR but he might as well have.

We’re not even sure either of our first two picks will start.
We have reached a point that it’s going to be nearly impossible for a UDFA to make the team, much less, actually see playing time.
Still, due diligence and all.
