This past season, the 6-foot-5, 305-pound center was the best offensive lineman in the ACC. He was not only named both a First-Team All-ACC selection, but was also the winner of the 2023 Jacobs Blocking Trophy, which goes to the most outstanding blocker in the ACC.

The Lions paid Clemens a $60,000 guaranteed signing bonus as a UDFA. He’s an athletic 302-pound center with three years (34 games) of starting experience for the Bruins. The Hawaii native also played right guard as a freshman. Clemens has very good short-area quickness and can pull and trap well.

May the best man win.

The Lions are always looking for cheap IOL help that they can develop. With so many C options it appears clear the Lions are planning for Ragnows backup and long term replacement.

I do like the way Holmes is always bring these types in. I wish he would do it more on the DL too.
