If your like me, your wondering why you give this team your : money, time, effort, loyalty, why you give them your hearts, and defend them…right now I’m pretty upset, I don’t know if I can hang on or give a sht, anymore. they gave up vs The Commanders, that wasn’t the 15 &2 Lions-frankly I don’t know who I was watching. Have you ever thought of just saying F it ! My life would be more valuable if I spent it doing other things? I’m there !! talk me off the ledge ! I can make up excuses why they lost, but I cannot figure out HOW you fought your way all the way here-to do that ??? On National TV Detroit Lions you had this Nation on baited breath -I never in my life have seen so many people wearing LIONS gear, because they loved you, they believed in you, they TRUSTED you to win this game! It was like watching a team that gave up!!! why the F shouldn’t I give up?? you baited your fans into thinking THIS WAS THE YEAR, this was the season----and you go out and play like Preseason Chumps ??? you lost the ability to reach a Superbowl to a LESSER TEAM !!! . you all checked out…like this wasn’t important . I can moan about injuries, I can bitch about officials, your play calling, your lack of urgency, and a few other things…but I would be right back here wondering why I should stick around or care anymore. I’m probably going to take some time to think about -coming here- for a bit, all I have is venom and bad thoughts right now- So I don’t see the purpose of venting or being angry and combative here for the next month …probably be back for mock draft BS… but -later .
Hang in there it’s tough right now. I feel some of the same feelings give it a couple of months and this will pass hopefully lol. Goff just played terrible if he doesn’t fumble when they’re up 7 to 3 and they score the game totally plays out. Definitely the problem with the playoffs is when your quarterback plays bad you’re goingdown
I agree the second half defense and the fourth quarter was pretty bad. They’ll be back, but I think I want a different quarterback.Lol
Sorry that you’re going through this, bro. There’s a lot to be said here about perspective, both in the small sense (you can’t buy into “this is our year” when there are always five or six teams capable of beating anyone in a single-elimination tournament) and in the large sense (it’s a game being played by millionaires who have no idea who you are).
But I won’t get deep into that. It hurts to lose. You’ve got friends here who know it. You’re not alone. And I can promise you that later this year you’re going to be celebrating some awesome Lions wins. Enjoy them when they come. Enjoy the moment, because it never lasts forever

But hey we’re a really good football team for the first time in the last 70 years. I trust that next year we will come back healthier and have another great season.

Wolf - there’s nothing we can say right now to make it better. Know that the sun will rise tomorrow and your family/loved ones remain healthy and well. In the grand scheme of things, we get to watch these games and cheer on our favorite team while enjoying all of the 1st world amenities available to us. Overall, we’re very blessed.
