Hogs is a better RG than LG. His few games his rookie season, that gave so much promise, if I remember, were at RG. And he played mostly as a TG at BC.
Me too. I donât really want a G in round 1 when we have our needs at DE/T, and Pregnon is a bit stiffer version of Vega, but might have more power. Pregnon and Sewell would kill people on double teams.
I agree, I like Vega, but I donât see a huge difference between him and Pregnon and Preg will likely go an entire round later.

Look at the second play in this video. The defender was off balance, but this type of sh*t gets my juices flowing.
We did get some nice reps out of Harper last year, but there is a reason the nickname âLegion of Whomâ caught on in 2025⌠when we were a 9-8team aspiring to the playoffs, then it made sense to have guys like J Jacobs, D Skipper, S Zylstra, Benito Jones, etc not only getting some reps, but also playing significant snaps or even getting some starts.
Fast forward to 2024, and while the D suffered a ton of injuries that required guys like Zeke Turner, Dorsey, Connor, Nowaske, Ukwu, Nieman, and Agoude to play more than just a few snapsâŚ
Decker, Glass, Ragnow, Zietler, and Sewell EACH played at least 895 snaps somehow, and all but Decker played over 91%. We went 15-2 without a defense!!! 4 guys over 1,000 sanps!!!
Fast forward to 2025?
Only rookie Tate Ratledge saw 1,000 plus snaps, and only Tate crossed over 91% of snaps by an OL playerâŚSewell was close with over 900âŚ. Decker had almost identical snaps in 2025 with an 81% snap share, but Glass and Mahogany were FAR less reliable and effective than Rags and Glass were the prior year.
Thus we got to see extended action from Kingsley, Skipper, Colon and Kayode⌠see the caravan of udfas weâve had to try and rely on the past 2 years on D⌠only this time we had a âLegion of Whomâ take 25% of our OL snaps.
- If we want to be serious about a 2-3 year run, then we need to have a depth chart with as many plus players as possible.
Guys like James Houston, Wingo, Rodrigo, and CM all showed us some nice flashes when called on as rookies, and we expected a lot more from each in year 2, but none really answered the bellâŚ. I REFUSE TO ACCEPT C MAHOGANY IS OUR LG, OR BOROM IS OUR RT WITHOUT A SOLID INVESTMENT IN DEPTH.. keep in mind CM has 2 years and Borom has just 1⌠so neither is being counted on as a long term solution as of nowâŚ
LT- Sewell/Manu- check!
C- Mays/Scruggs- check!
RG- Ratledge/CM- check!
We should all prefer CM at RG vs LG, and having ideal quality depth behind Rat is a good thing⌠we saw a 20 point rating disparity between his RG and LG starts in 25â. We also watched Glass go from a good RG, to a functional LG, to a really bad C from 23â-25â.
Vega, Pregnon⌠either of these guys at LG and one of the below in round 4/5 to battle our RT with Borom and Frazier gives us some really. Ice depth.
JC Davis, Kage Casey, Austin Barber, T Burke, B Parker, Crownover⌠on of these guys on day 3 could be a sneaky platoon woth Borom
- Letâs say CM repeats as a sub 60 rated LG, and maybe we take a RT in round 1 who isnât better than Borom next yearâŚ
Sewell/Manu
Vega/Mahogany
Mays/Scruggs
Ratledge/Mahogany
Borom/JC Davis
That could be a helluva 9 man OL both short and long term⌠Frazier or Manu on the PS
I had to give you a like just for all the effort. I would love to have Ioane on our team but I would have to see who is available when we pick. I would also add that it is not a coincidence that all these guys have a higher rating when they play next to Sewell,
