Are you saying the Casinos can influence the game by using the Ref’s. Almost like the ref’s have some type of power to call ridiculous penalties at critical moments in the game and changing the outcome of the game. I’m sure the NFL has the most trusted people with most pristine integrity keeping that from happening. Goodell’s honesty and trusted reputation for fairness has been outstanding. How dare we question that man’s virtuous character.
Hell yea! They will â– â– â– â– the Lions any chance they get!!!
Got to Beat GB so bad they can’t cheat!
The more and more gambling is pushed non stop, the less and less authenticity sports have IMO. It’s a concerning trend.
It also makes the games hard to watch at times…. Gamble, gamble, gamble, live odds update. Blah blah blah. I’m just trying to watch a baseball or football game for some entertainment. Stop trying to persuade and manipulate people for profit the entire game
I will say NFL is definitely the least impacted imo. Just because it is a such a team sport,
Where MLB, NBA its so easy for a player to “miss a shot” or whatever. Help their buddies make some money.
College is definitely super easy for players to slip info to their friends to make money. 128 teams with 90 players. And 40+ staff. Good luck tracking all that.
NFL its a little harder for anything shady on the players side. Especially since they have Ex FBI/CIA guys watching everything like a hawk. But the Ref aspect is definitely something concerning.
If more money than bets percentage wise are on the Lions that means the sharps or the professionals are putting money on the Lions—at least to cover. I don’t think too many of them are worried about the “Vegas controls football outcomes.” If the Lions lose it may be because of the officials but not Vegas.
And remember, if you have a gambling problem, don’t call that number on your screen now. Even though if you did win, you’d be like insane rich, and all your problems disappear.
Almost as bad as Big Pharma adds that show adults with their friends and family happily enjoying life, while the narrator then starts talking about diarrhea and blacking out.
