Good point, RB’s really gotta start pulling out all the stops. The last thing a RB needs is more reps in training camp. ■■■■ that. A body only has so many reps
Uh, really? Reset the market? In a world where Kelce exists?
It looks like Holmes really nailed this trade. At the time, I thought he was kind of ‘mailing it in’ on the season because we had a lousy start and Hock was one of the few guys producing some.
It appears I was wrong again. And hooray for that!!
Kelce is a bargain on the deal he signed. Jones is holding out for the Chiefs due $20 million, but Kelce is the one who should really be holding out. He’s by far the best TE in the NFL, it’s not even remotely close and he’s going to make 14 mill this season.Kelce should really be making #1 WR money, that’s the type of production he’s put up. He’s not even the highest paid TE, that is criminal.
I swear if we end up trading Hock, forcing Kwesi to spend 6/100, then as a result need a cheap QB and turn to Lance? Who inevitably will be awful and tank them for a couple years…
So the head coach says that Hockenson hasn’t given him any indication that his ear and back “issues” are related to his contract. He then praises TJ’s commitment to listening in the meeting room and working out like a madman to be sure he is in shape for the season.
