Vikings team, not fans, spent $2M on SNF tickets

This is hilarious and kind of sad that is how they occupy their time with such a big game coming up.

I didn’t read the article, but thought I read elsewhere it was for 2000 tickets?

This is as low as it gets. This is essentially stealing from Lions fans. â– â– â– â–  the Vikings. â– â– â– â–  SKOL. Imagine having to bribe your fans to go to a game.

Poverty franchise spending $2m … unreal.

Yes, 1,900 tickets behind Vikings bench. Then sold them to season ticket holders and family for as low as $200 each.

You know, I can appreciate the team doing that. See if the Lions jump on that model

I will say, Lions tickets are gradually dropping as the game gets closer. I’ll be keeping an eye on it tomorrow morning.

“According to Breer, not everyone bought into the Vikings’ plan, as one of their season-ticket holders sold their ticket that was purchased from the team on the secondary market.”

Hmmm. Perhaps some of those “lucky” Minnesota fans are cashing in and flooding the secondary market with tickets destined for Lions fans. The market wins again!!

Then opposing stadiums would be 60% Lions fans instead of 40%. Haha! Our fans take care of that business on their own.

Traditionally, I haven’t disliked them as much as I do Chicago or Green Bay…things are a’shiftin’.

Time to start energetically nuking the entire division.

Yeah some of those fans are selling the tickets and it’s driving the prices back down.

They initially drove the price up.

It’s 1900 tickets they’ve purchased and are selling to their season ticket holders.

There’s a story where one guy sold his ticket for $800 and got it for $200

Lions respond by raising prices for Vikings game.

Wow

I wonder how many of the 1,900 have already sold their tickets for a tidy profit.

Albert dropping the Hold My Breer!

I don’t see how we can win with 1,900 Vikings fans in Ford Field.

Actually given our 8-0 road record wouldn’t they have been better off bringing zero visiting fans with them?

That would be a significant increase in number of fans compared to the Rams game. I went to that game and I swear it felt like there were 12 Rams fans in attendance.

We had to be AT LEAST 20,000 strong at the Chiefs game last year. We might have been pushing 30,000.

I call bullshit on this. There’s no way there are 12 Rams fans.
