Washington cut D Haskins

violating covid protocol…

That was just part of it.
He sucked on and off the field.

I didn’t like Haskins coming out but man, nobody could have predicted he would turn out this bad.

What is it about Urban Meyer QB’s doing so well in his system but never becoming good NFL QB’s?

Alex Smith became a pretty good NFL QB

He’s literally like the only one.

But look at the rest. Aside from Haskins they’re all college Zone read/RPO guys with marginal arm talent.

Braxton Miller, JT Barrett, Tom Tebow, Josh Harris (BGU)

Cardale Jones simply wasn’t all that good

Cardale had the strongest arm of them all but yeah, simply wasn’t that good…but somehow all these guys looked good in Urban’s system.

To think if the Skins drafted a QB at 2OA we could have had Chase Young. I have to wonder if Washington could go back if they would have drafted a QB instead.

I honestly think that if Wash had passed on Young the Lions would have still drafted Okudah.

What does Haskins bombing out say about Justin Fields?

And what are the odds that Wash could be aggressively looking to trade up now?

As good as Chase is, yeah you wonder if they had it to do over again if they wished they would have drafted Herbert instead…and traded Haskins last year when he had a little value left to his trade stock.

Again, another good question if we would have still drafted Okudah because MP wanted to mimic the NE plan of having a lock-down CB. The “what-ifs” if drafting.

Tim Tebow has as many playoff wins as our entire organization over the last 60 years.

Yep. As does T.J. Yates
