I have a carving for snow . After my first snow in 96 I got pneumonia, since then going strong , but tested my athleticism

Shagging cars, back in the Day meant hiding behind a tree or between 2 parked cars on a snow covered and/or snow rutted residential street, waiting for a car to pass, then jumping out behind the passing car, crouching down, holding onto the rear bumper for dear life (literally to prevent sliding underneath a moving car, and sliding on the snow covered street with a moving car as long as you could, before the driver slowed down due to “Drag” from us kids hanging onto his rear bumper or slammed on his brakes, in an attempt to throw us sliders from the car. GREAT FUN but dangerous !!!

Oh thats awesome dude! Are you right on Georgian Bay? Ive been up here 20 years from windsor and these 6 month winters with the lake effect snow are killing me! Im finally forcing myself to take 3 weeks off in March and hit Florida.

No snow here, although it was pretty cold this morning around 45 degrees with a high of only 65 today.

I used to go down for Spring training every March, good time to be down there.
When I lived in Ft Collins we didn’t have snow plows, they spread black ash on the major roads and the sun did the rest. “Fort Collins has a reputation for sunshine, with estimates pointing to around 300 sunny days per year, although some sources suggest a more realistic number is 200–250 days of mostly or fully sunny weather.”

They don’t spread salt here but its no longer black ash.
My front yard and driveway face south. I rarely have to shovel unless its a huge dump of snow. The sun burns it dry fairly quickly.

The sun sure is a game changer. Every spring I have tons of snow left and the ■■■■■■■ across the street are working on cleaning up the front grass
