Goffs Job is to manage the game ,Goff can’t even do that under pressure, Winston with a decent line can stand in pocket and deliver . We saw how poor goff played for lions in his first season with a weak lions teams ,he almost got benched . Goff is paid 40 million to manage game by holmes, he can’t even manage a pressure game. Holmes is a cheap guy who don’t over pay,but not a problem over wasting money for goff . Lions offense was always Gibbs and o line, goff was just another guy. Winston is paid 1.6 million and manager Goff 40 plus. Goff is not smart either ,we even lost time out after clocking down .

Winston throws interceptions almost as often as he throws TDs.
Yes he makes a lot of good plays but he makes A LOT of bad plays too.
He’s the ultimate gunslinger.
I’d rather have Goff. There’s a reason Winston has been a backup ever since he threw for 5000 yards, 33 TDs and 30 INTs.
Winston looks great until he does something very stupid which happens every game. He is a real good backup to have though.

We have a playmakers all over, All we need is an athletic quarterback who can stand and deliver , have some ability to escape the pressure, Make some short throws and our playmaker’s will make the playa, we are over complicating the offense
