The only thing that didn’t seem as thought out for protocol was initial announcement that play would resume while the teams look so obviously shook.

I truly think the whole “play will resume in 5 minutes thing” was a mixed signal thing… I think everything happened so fast, the communication of what was happening on the field vs what the higher ups knew was delayed or not communicated. Also too, CPR didn’t start right away, he didn’t lose his pulse initially according to the post from @Phunnypharm in the other thread.
It was a crazy situation and unprecedented in this day and age of football… I don’t know the whole 5 minute thing was made with all the information.
Then again, we might get an extra playoff game so they’ll make even more money now!
