Week 18 Flexible Schedule

I somehow did not realize the week 18 schedule was never set by the NFL? They have the matchups obviously and the times slots but not what teams play when. Did anyone else realize this?

In Week 18, two games will be played on Saturday (4:30 PM ET and 8:15 PM ET) with the remainder to be played on Sunday afternoon (1:00 PM ET and 4:25 PM ET) and one matchup to be played on Sunday night (8:20 PM ET). Specific dates, start times, and networks for Week 18 matchups will be determined and announced following the conclusion of Week 17.

I didn’t notice the TBD either, but it’s there.

I’ve looked at schedules for different teams 100 times and never noticed. It’s an interesting concept and I would imagine the Lions may wind up a Saturday game with the Packers.

If the Packers still have a chance at the playoffs then the NFL will flex it to Sunday night. Colder the better to give the Pack any advantage it can. Put money on it.

All the more sweeter to watch us beat them in lambeau on Sunday night football in zero degree weather.

We will punch them in the face, the throat, the gut, the balls, and take their kneecaps home for a late night snack

What other games are on that have a TBD on them?

If things play out I would almost guarantee we get flexed

I was listening to the Huge show on the way home from work and he was talking about what it would take for the Lions to get into the playoffs at 9-8. If for some reason we end up with the same record with the Packers we have the tie breaker. Boy would it be nice to go into Lambeau with nothing to play for knowing we were in. I want to win out but it sure would make things easier for that to happen.

Okie dokie so looking at the schedule the only games I could see being flexed would be

  1. lions packers
  2. cowboys commanders
  3. eagles giants
    4)jets dolphins
  4. patriots bills
  5. ravens bengals

No particular order but those seem to be the best matchups as of now.

We’ll see but there are some very interesting matchups that week.

I don’t care if we get flexed or not… we’ll get our prime time games next year for sure, along with our playoff games this year.
