Davis is getting a pick
While I think last week was about Monty, I think this one will be about Gibbs.
There 2 WRs are very underrated, it’s one of the better and more consistent duels in the nfl. Imo
I can honestly see us losing this game. I don’t WANT us to, but I could see it especially if the offense is still janky.
I think you could argue that it’s better than what we just faced from the Rams. Evan’s is a HOF lock imo.
I have zero belief that the offense is going to be janky. I do not believe Dan will stand for this. I expect this week of practice is addressing much of what we saw in week 1.
That said, I think this is the ARSB revenge game. He may not have a revenge motive, but I bet he is absolutely not satisfied with week 1 performance and is ready to kick the nuts out of the next opponent.
yea I get arsb being planned for but was very surprised he was invisible.
I don’t disagree that they are better than what we just faced (especially once Puka went out), but the Rams also had their own HOF lock. It’s Godwin that makes the TB corps better imo. Evans and Kupp are a wash.
He had a two-week stretch last year where he only caught 5 passes (NO and Chicago). He’s done this before. He’ll be fine.
Kupp? I don’t see it if that’s who you mean. He’s went over 1000 yards twice in 7 seasons. If he can stay healthy he definitely has the ability. Evan’s 10 straight years over 1000 yards is crazy.
Career-wise Evans is better, no one sustains that kind of production and doesn’t make the hall. But I think Kupp is a better player right now, and has been for the past 4-5 years. The problem is he gets hurt and Evans doesn’t.
So maybe I should say Kupp’s peaks are higher (I mean he won the NFL’s only triple crown ever - led the league in receiving yards, TDs and catches all in one season), but Evans is more consistent. Both are studs, and yeah, to me, both are slam dunk HOFers.
And at this moment in time, they’re at least a wash.
nope, obviously time to trade him for hopefully a 6th round pick in 2026.
Kupp is going to have to stay healthy for a few more years to be a HOF lock to me. But yea right now Kupp is definitely one of the top guys out there. And his SB season was absolutely unreal.
Also not sure the Buccs WR block like those Rams wrs do.
Yeah very few block as well as LA (we’re one of them, but it’s rare). I definitely wouldn’t put Tampa in that category. Hopefully we can make them one-dimensional. In fact I expect to (Rachaad White sucks imo, though this rookie RB of theirs looks pretty good).
I watched the Buccs commanders game and think we can get to Baker. But if we don’t watch it they will kill us with the screen game. Daniel’s missed some opportunities as rookie QBs do. Washington also had the worst defense in the NFL last year….but they did pressure Baker. I think commanders missed a couple FGs that hurt them. Game was a little closer than the final score.
It would be nice to see a 3-1 or 4-0 start. And then come off the BYE week and beat Dallas.
If they want to get the 1 seed they have to pile up wins. And this is a Home game.
Here are the rules in my book to win Division:
1- Win all Home games
2- Split on Road
3- Put premium on NFC opponents
That gives you a 12-5, 13-4 record and likely the NFC North Title year in and year out.
So this being a Home Game against an NFC opponent the Lions need this one. These first 4 games are huge for seeding and such. All 4 are out of Division but in Conference games. You go 4-0 and you have done a ton to guarantee a playoff spot. Then you need to go 4-2 or better in the Division and you are already at 8 wins.
Yeah I’m not taking much away from that TB-Washington game. The only legitimate players the Commies have on D are their DTs and it’s easy to work around those guys. Maybe Sainristil will be in time, but this was his first ever game. But they’ve got no ability to pressure the passer which definitely won’t be a problem for us. We’ll definitely speed up Baker’s clock.
Davis is getting a pick
Like one that he actually catches?
