This morning it got extremely cold in my house. So wife turned up the temp, cold air going through the vents. Any who i really realized i dont hear the furnace running like normal. Called in someone to look at it. Did his testing and all, said you were extremely lucky same as your wife our carbon monoxide levels were extremely high. Btw we have dictactor for it. He said you waited one more day it might have been it for you guys. So 15k to fix it and new ac unit as well, we went with a life time warranty. I know @Nate had issues not to long ago

I had to replace mine a few years back.
My wife had lost her sister to carbon monoxide. We had good detectors and they went off one day but only for a second. A few days later an again so we had it checked out and ended up replacing everything.
Our heat bill dropped in cost significantly. The new furnace used about 1/3 less fuel to run. Our home heated more consistently too.
I had the ducts cleaned at the time as well.

If you haven’t signed yet, PRICE SHOP. I got my furnace for $4,600 after being quoted $7,200. Didn’t buy the AC b/c we might be moving to SF next year.

Probably is our house is getting cold. I know its high but I have so much going on. Im trying to sell my dads house, my wifes biopsy is tomorrow. I just need to get things done.
