We've called about Carl Granderson?

Anyone with PFF know what Grandrson’s pass rush win rate sits at this year to date?

Yeah, honestly they should be looking to trade Olave before anyone else. He’s still on his rookie deal so it’s pure cap relief, plus like you say he might retire soon. But I’m sure to get out of NO he’ll tell whatever team that’s targeting him (Pittsburgh?) that he’s not retiring.

Shaheed would probably be their most valuable piece but he’s out for the year.

Excluding the rookie class and Bresee. Maybe Olave but that is so much uncertainty all of the sudden.

Isn’t he supposed to do jail time for SA

From 2019?

Didn’t know about that or had forgotten. Jail time now?

I just read that he had some issue his rookie season. This is a wait and see for me

Senior year at Wyoming. I would imagine that it’s resolved. As to whether that’s an issue for us? Not sure.

But Dan and AG know the guy.

Granderson has some character concerns.

Personal

[edit]

Granderson was sentenced to six months in prison on July 11, 2019, after pleading no contest to sexual battery and unlawful contact from an incident in 2018 involving two women.[10] After 43 days in jail, on August 26, a judge suspended his jail sentence and sentenced him to one year of supervised probation instead.[11]

If Dan and Brad think he is ok, I will trust them. To me, this fell more under the possible turd category. I do know Granderson has more pressures than our entire line this year. That’s not saying much outside of Hutch though.

I do think we need an additional end, especially with concerns about Paschal. As we saw with Hutch, teams will still roll to one side if pressure comes from the other. Our DT’s are great at shoving the pocket back, its just we have no one to clean it up. Now we have Smith. One more end would be icing.

I’d like another end too. Although Cominsky may be back in December.

"I don’t have a crystal ball in terms of when it will be, but we’ve had enough conversations that we feel good and we know the player well enough how he’s going to attack his rehab that we feel good that hopefully later in the season, that we’ll have him really probably right when we need him," Holmes said.

His 2007 season was one to remember;

38 doubles, 23 triples, 23 HRs & 26 SBs.

Complete click bait folks. Even if we were interested, the Saints cannot afford to trade him. They would eat too much of his recently signed contract. They are in cap hell.

Now, Marshon Lattimore would be interesting.

Expensive and not really a need. Moseley is on his way back as well.

This guy?

I was going to say, I’d take Curtis Granderson at this point.

I think Lattimore would be great. Can never have enough too many CBs.

I agree that it’s not really a need but Moseley hasn’t played in a game in how long? He’s not a realistic option.

I didn’t realize this happened…nah boys…this pipe dream just died…

For CB5 or 6? Of course he is. He reportedly looked very good this off-season.
