I think the best GMs can do that even when the cabinet is full, so they replenish the players who leave, and get us more picks. They just have to be able to replace the talent enough to stay competitive while getting more picks from the guys that leave.

First off, the pro bowl is a popularity contest, not indicitave of a truly talented player.

Agreed… What’s crazy is players get more expensive the more pro bowls they make. The 5th year option for first round picks goes up extensively for pro bowls. Kinda ridiculous.

I call it the Jeff Saturday effect.
