What free agents should the FALCONS sign to improve both the offense and defense?

The picture isn’t pretty for the Falcons, not a lot to work with, but here’s three under the radar guys that would smartly improve the team as a whole.

Akhello Witherspoon would be a real comfort factor coming from the Rams with Morris, and fill a gaping secondary need at a reasonable price.

AJ Espenesa hasn’t made many headlines, but he would add an element of toughness that the Falcons defensive line lacked last year.

I saved the best for last. Noah Brown could unlock the entire puzzle that is the Falcons offense. Paired with London, Brown demands attention and respect after last year’s breakout performance and could really open up other areas of the field. Brown isn’t going to cost a lot, but could provide the pop that’s missing.

These three signings are worth more than the sum of the individual parts, and could potentially put the Falcons in the driver’s seat in a very winnable NFC South.

QB Gardner Minshew - Yes he comes with limitations, but he’s a competitor and he can take advantage of the weapons on the team better than what you currently have. You need a QB in case things don’t go as planned in the draft or you’re not able to trade for one a la Fields.

WR Gabe Davis - You need a speed element and Van Jefferson didn’t work out so go after another one.

Edge Bryce Huff - I’d take a swing and try to get him. You need a proven edge to take that defense to the next level and he fits what Morris wants. He’s also a guy that Ebikedie can learn from.

CB Bryce Hall - Let’s pick another guy from the Jets D. Hall can compete for the 2 job opposite of Terrell.
