You trying to make Josh Gordon come out of retirement again?
Hey they had an NFL Europe team right? I feel like that’s where Kurt Warner played.
And he came back thinking his wife had a nice haircut.
Man I forgot all about NFL Europe…I remember watching some absolutely terrible football games back in the 90’s
I’d love for them to put a team in Dublin if they go the European route. Pretty peeved they made the Vikings Ireland’s home team. I mean, really? Vikings? What about when they play games in Stockholm, Oslo, Kobnhavn or Helsinki?
Speaking of Amsterdam, anyone else here ever go to the scan Gogh museum tripping their face off. It was great. I didn’t even cut my ear off.
40 is way too watered down. The only way that I would support that is if they use your relegation idea. But no way existing owners would go for that.
Expand by two at a time.
Some really good players got their starts their though. Outside of Warner there was Jake Delhomme, Adam Vinatieri, James Harrison and Jon Kitna
Way too many…shit we can’t get to a super bowl with 32 teams…I sure as hell don’t want worse odds.
Oh I agree 100%, but this is ownership we’re talking about. They’ll convince themselves that by expanding into Europe, they’ll increase the size of the potential talent pool by enough to counteract thinning rosters. And they might be right, after a fashion, but that won’t take effect for a long time.
Apparently NFL Europe is back. Just not an OFFICIAL NFL affiliate.
European League of Football (ELF)
First season was right after covid.
They are currently in their 5th season. Playoffs starting soon
2024 Championship game
The Dusseldorf Rhein Fire from Germany
Defeated
The Vienna Vikings from Austria
I think the NFL would be better off sponsoring/ Supporting this league vs basically adding these teams to the NFL.
2 teams
San Antonio and Toronto
Wait 6ish years
London, Frankfort, Birmingham UK and Birmingham, AL.
Since I live here, this team would immediately be my second team after the Lions.
Some clubs are in financial trouble because of less viewers and lack of competition, blowouts are on weekly agenda (last week Paris vs Cologne 74-7). Ownership of the league will change after this season but I wouldnt bet on a longterm solution.
