What is success tonight?

  1. No injuries
  2. Our 2nd stringers dominate

A clinic from Jamo. Up against second stringers, he’ll be the main focus of the offense and should have himself a day.

Also seeing Bridgewater tonight would’ve been cool but obviously that’s not going to happen.

Halfway decent coverage from the secondary.

Flashes of decent play from the rookie DT.

The secondary improving is the quickest way for this team to make a significant improvement from last season to this year

  1. See some good play by Martin and Levi on the DL ( I expect both will get some playing time)
  2. Good coverage by Starling Thomas, I am rooting for him
  3. No missed FG’s or extra points (Kicking game is my biggest concern with this team)

I’m still laughing hahahahaa. Internet HOF!

I can’t find the game? What station will it be on?

Not waking up still drunk.

For me I want to see our offensive and defensive lines control the game when the starters are in. I’d also like to see growth from our young players. Guys like paschal and onwuzurike who haven’t gotten to show what their capable of yet because of injury limitations. Outside of that please everyone come out healthy.

Jamo scored a 2pt conversion.

defense was pretty good.

Okwara getting 3 sacks

that Cota kid was pretty decent.

Martinez had a pretty decent game.

Jack Campbell is a beast.

I like what I seen from Mitchell but other than that no backups really impressed me.

Seeing the competition at so many spots. Success is making the cuts hard on DC and BH.

The D-line sure did, stopped the run, 5 sacks and set up a gift INT to end the game.

The O-line not so much. Although not a single starter played at all.

It seems like all Mitchell does is catch the ball when it’s thrown to him.
All the talk has been LaPorta which makes sense and he looks to be a good one, but Mitchell is quietly sneakily doing well. Did well in his time last season and good start last night.

No, I’m not saying Mitchell surplants LaPorta, but I think Ben will find ways to utilize him in key areas or spots.

From the Freeps post game observations, Mitchell one of four players “up”. The blocking comment wasn’t something I had heard about this spring/summer.

TE James Mitchell: Mitchell isn’t a bubble player. His roster spot is secure. But after a rookie season in which he caught 11 passes in 14 games, he had an impressive preseason debut Friday — three catches for 53 yards. Mitchell has impressed as a blocker all training camp, and on Friday he showed some catch-and-run ability that could make him a dangerous complement to Sam LaPorta this fall.

How did Broderic Martin look?

Who played center?

3 sacks by Julian so we can trade him like Swift or use him and resign him next year on the 1 year freebie deal that Will Harris qualified for.

Julian will not be cut or stashed

I hope you’re right. He was awesome last night. Way better than just three sacks. Some posters massively undersold just how good he was last night. I just finished the game and will post my full observations later today when I get time. Sons birthday party at the epilepsy inducing Japanese arcade is today so may be later.

Please do. I couldn’t watch
