I have visited opposing team forums for years. What I have discovered, judging by activity, is that the fan base in Detroit is unmatched anywhere. We get more posts in one day than any other 5 (SWAG) team forums combined.

Hi. Chiefs fan here. Been a Chiefs fan for over 40 years now, but my brother was a big Lions fan when we were kids back in the '80s, and I’ve kind of followed the Lions off and on over the years since. I liked what I saw from DET over the last 8-9 games last season, and predicted while watching them play their final regular season game that they’d probably win the NFC-N this year.
i think you’ve got a pretty good football team this year, and it looks like they’re just going to get better over the next few years. Maybe it’ll result in something like what the Chiefs did starting back in 2013, the year Andy became HC.
Anyway, i was curious what DET fans were thinking about this game, so I came to take a look around.
Chiefsplanet, (or just CP), is the biggest/busiest Chiefs forum by far. But word of warning: it’s basically the wild West. It’s pretty lightly monitored, and nearly anything goes. And it can get a bit rowdy. Every day. So, if you come to visit, just be prepared for anything, with a liberal dose of insults. Those are standard CP “hello, how are yas?” just so you know.
If you can get past that stuff without having an emotional conniption, you’ll find that CP is a wealth of football knowledge and great football conversation. Just have to have a decently thick skin.
Shouldn’t be a problem for the average Lions fan, I’m thinking.
