He doesn’t have any guarantees left on his deal…
his $1.5 million roster bonus becomes guaranteed on day 5 of the league year…. if he plays… but if he retires… it won’t matter.

I would talk him into retiring. if he’s already talking about not being able to throw a ball to his kids, or pick them up, playing MORE isn’t going to fix that shoulder.
get out while you can rehab to a normal life dude.
