What's Up with Marvin Jones? Is he Done?

And the latter half would be right.

The number of incentives he will reach:

I loved me some Marvin Jones Jr in his first stint with the Lions. Great locker room guy and had good to great production for a number of years. When he left in Free Agency I wasn’t too broken up about it as I figured it was time. When he returned this off-season, I wasn’t too happy about it… I just didn’t think he’d still be able to produce enough for what we would need during Jamo’s suspension. Sadly, it seems I was right. He’s just not able to produce much of anything anymore. It’s time for Antoine Green to take his snaps and maybe even time for MJJ to sit on Sundays. If he wanted to retire a Lion, I’d be happy about that. But it’s time.

Fixed it.

Great guy but when JW comes back he goes to the inactive list on Sunday’s or cut list. I also wouldn’t be surprised if it happens sooner, expedite the Green learning curve.

This about sums it up.

3 games played. 2 catches for 8 yards, 1 fumble on 6 targets.

You might think oh well that’s cause he’s not playing much. He;s played 102 snaps this season. He hasn’t caught a pass since KC. Just no production at all sadly.

I’d give Green most of Marv’s snaps moving forward.

I’d rather see Drummond out there on Sundays.

Yea give some one with some fresh legs a shot.

Hopefully Marv can handle not playing and being a mentor.

I honestly think they just haven’t needed him. He’s a veteran presence and isn’t being asked to do much. Goff only targeted 4 guys yesterday and they won pretty convincingly. He is still a body that has to be accounted for and he can still catch. Fumble was a fluke.

As they did with Perriman and Tyrell Williams, they should just cut bait, eat the contract, and move on.
