They don’t have to be good. Did you see the PI no calls they got away with… Arnold gets flagged for doing 2 thirds less than that shit. Insane how much KC and other certain special teams get away with… hard not to believe it’s not all rigged sometimes. And you can’t breathe on Patty without getting called for roughing, and I was a non-invested viewer and it was obvious something stinks.

They did the same shit last year, had to go on the road twice in the playoffs (Buffalo, Baltimore) and still won. They’re just one of those teams that can stumble their way through a season then turn it on when they want to.

Yes, they are 3 - 0 but there’s been at least a few suspicious whistles, ball spots, and non-calls this year.
Arnold would’ve gotten a three game suspension for this. For the Chiefs… No call.

It was a bad call, but the Chiefs had two very ticky-tack calls go against them on the next possession and Atlanta got the ball back. I’m not saying the Falcons wouldn’t choose the PI call over the way it went down, I just don’t think this narrative that the Chiefs get all the calls is correct.
Bill Barnwell did a deep dive last week when the Bengals were complaining to see if their complaints were justified and found that the Bengals actually got more calls than the Chiefs.

The Chiefs are the most carried team in the NFL. I’ll save the rant but here is the deal. Their defense is very good, but still beatable. They are missing Snead. They are also missing Willie Gay, who played very well as their LB.
On offense, here is a secret. Their offensive line sucks. They already benched their supposed up and coming LT, and Juwaan Taylor still gets away with more shit than any other lineman. Kelce is in regular season coast mode, just like last year. Worthy, as Cameron Britt-Taylor said so well, can only run straight. Yes, he is fast. Welcome to the NFL, where defenses learn how to take a 4.22 and make you run a 5 second 40 by jamming, chipping and rerouting. Worthy does not have the strength to fight off of the ball. Rashee Rice is their biggest threat, on and off of the field. He is a player, and is holding their offense together. I do like their run game right now, it’s solid. I know it’s sacrelige to say it, but Mahomes is not playing well. Even going back to last year, he just can’t resist throwing the ball to the other team. The big weakness is their red zone offense is ass. There is a reason Harrison Butker is a great fantasy option, and it isn’t because he is kicking extra points. It’s because the Chiefs settle for 3 way more than you’d think.
The Chiefs are still a good team, but they are not this unstoppable force that the media tries to sell. They should have lost to Cincy. they got bailed out. The Atlanta game went like I thought, Atlanta put a good scare and could have won, but couldn’t get the last score. The Chiefs will take some L’s this year, and yes they will win the division. They will also get beat by stronger NFL teams, and at some point we will hear Mahomes whine about “Football is just not fun right now.” (Post Buffalo game comments from last season) Then we can watch the NFL scramble to throw flags to continue to bail them out.
