Problem is and what nobody here is going to admit, Patricia was loved almost as much as Brad Holmes here, you couldn’t question him his first couple years either with out getting blasted.

I think Dan is a meatball but I also think he has a good mind with the game it’s self. I just dont know if he is the guy to lead us to the SB. Just need the holmes guys to play better and not get hurt.
Yes, like Tony Dungy had a ceiling with Tampa. Otherwise, we will end up starting again in four years, but we can move on next year. Dan might be able to win somewhere else.
We had a balanced team when we lost to the 49ers on the road. The 49ers were a weak team too. He made all those stupid fourth-down decisions and screwed up a winnable game. Maybe its because smart head coaches were smart enough to stay away from the lions before dan got the job. If given a choice between the lions and almost every other job the smart money would be take the other job or wait a year…
