It’s May, but this is always in the back of my head and buggering me to no end.
I guess we’ll hear when it gets done. 
Really hard for any of us to have any real idea of how close/far away they are, what the hangups are, etc. We can all speculate, but no one has any idea.

I would love to see this done. But I do believe there are a few issues from the agent’s point of view. Part of me wonders if the agent is trying to hold out for another QB to get a contract and alter the market just a little bit. Perhaps not to force more dollars, but to influence terms.
I have no idea if this is true, but I don’t get the feeling they are far off money wise. So I think we are dealing in details. If I am the agent and I am not liking the details, well waiting for another QB to extend may be the easiest path to get what I want for my client.

It will be this summer. Lions were working on ARSB and Sewell, plus UFA. Agents have many UFA clients as well. Now things have shifted to getting rookies signed for both the Lions and agent. I’d expect July.

Yup only thing to do between now and Mandatory camp in Late July is.
- Rookie Camp (Sign rookies and choose the tryouts) May 10-12
- OTAs 5/21-5/23, 5/19-5/31,
- June 1st Cuts
- Mandatory mini camp, 6/4-6/5
- OTAs 6/10-6/12
So from 6/13 - 7/26
The schedule is wide open!

Who cares about Goff’s contract? what about Stafford? He wants more money and the Rams are destroying all trust by waiting.

I would literally belly laugh if Stafford said “fock off” and retired.
