Which offseason acquisition was the best upgrade for the Lions?

I’m going with CB over Reader.

Sutton & Vildor as the starting CBs in the NFC Championship game.

Woof.

Please note it takes 4 additions to that room before they can eclipse Reader.

Dude is big.

It’s crazy, because we replaced our weakest positions that had been manned by largely street free agents / replacement level players with ultra-solid vets and high-potential rookies.

Whether you choose NT or CB, the upgrades are undeniable.

Bates (I hope)

Reader by far.

Replaced Buggs/ Jones. That didnt even crack the top 100 DTs in the NFL. Not even a starter on most other teams
With Reader thats top 20!

Yes the CB additions are good too. But
Vildor/ Jacobs would still be starters on some teams. And Davis and Robertson are just above average. Not elite like reader

Arnold… got a feeling about this guy… primetime vibes.

I’d like to see him hit a 67 yard game winner with 2 seconds left against a playoff bound team and become the next Justin Tucker.
