The Green Bay Packers, the Baltimore Ravens ( questionable) and The Kansas City Chiefs.
Our record is 1-2 against the teams that are any good, and the Ravens are having a bad year so really 0-2.
The Lions grade at this point in the season is a C, +C. We should have been up for this game, but for some reason took them lightly, probably because of their record and the fact that we have beaten them the last two outings. We finally went up against a well good team that hadn’t gotten out of its own way yet this year and weren’t able to adjust and pull out a victory. We have a long way to go against tough teams and already our defensive backfield is toast. This man to man defensive scheme is physically killing this defensive backfield because it is not physically sustainable when our pass rush is still not good enough.
Lastly, I believe our practices are too intense and need to be taken down a notch. It doesn’t seem to be a recipe for longevity. I know, you practice hard, you play hard. I get that, but it seems to need tweaking. Our strength and conditioning must be evaluated also. We are back to having to outscore the other teams in order to win.. We know how this plays out.
