Who is your favorite superhero and why?

I got the idea to make this poll about 15 minutes before kickoff yesterday, but I felt like it wouldn’t get a ton of traffic since everyone was watching the game.

Don’t ask me where the idea came from. It really did just pop in my head out of nowhere.

Pick One:
  • Captain America
  • Iron Man
  • Hulk
  • Thor
  • Hawkeye
  • Black Widow
  • Spiderman
  • Black Panther
  • Superman
  • Batman
  • Wonder Woman
  • Aquaman
  • Deadpool
  • Wolverine
  • Other Marvel Character
  • Other DC Character
  • Other Character

If you listed another character, reply with who you’re thinking of.

I’m very curious to see how this one turns out…except I think I know who @BigNatty is voting for…

I had The Flash Underoos when I was a kid, so he’s always been a fave.

As an adult, though, Deadpool is more my style.

There is only one vote: other DC character
That would be Motor City Dan Campbell.

I love so many of them for completely different reasons from each other.
Hulk is my fav…but it’s more my rendition of hulk than what is portrayed currently in the movies. In the movies, they make him far more “family friendly” than he was in the comic books. I was never huge into the comics, but loved what Hulk stood for to me.

To me, he’s the ultimate humanitarian that loves ppl and wants to do what is best for the world. He often ends up in the wrong place and the wrong time, and when things go sideways, he smashes the shit out of everything and makes the bully realize exactly how puny he actually is. Hulk is love driven, and his rage is purely the shadow of his love. His rage is in defense of love, when something/someone gets threatened, usually with a life or death situation. Hulk is the apex predator of EVERYTHING…EVERYWHERE…but he is totally driven by love, so much so that a rage that most could never understand comes up when love gets threatened.

This symbolizes that Hulk has realized his full power, and that a “fight or flight” situation is an extreme rarity, that love wins, and nothing can truly threaten love…and that the rage, while it is there, is almost never needed. The power can be more directly channeled into love that way, creating a cleaner, more concentrated, more focused every of love.

Truthfully, I’m not sure Stan Lee ever came up with this exact rendition of Hulk, but he is THE SAME as “WorldBreaker Hulk.” Worldbreaker Hulk is just the shadow energy of this guy, when he feels like he has to defend what is most sacred to his universe.

To quote the captain of ‘the news’ (Huey Lewis), “That’s the power of love”

A client had a digital artist create this for my birthday a few years back. Yup - I’m enough of a high octane nerd to hang it in my home.

I like Batman because he has no superpowers, so he only relies on skills, smarts, and tech

I’m kind of a fan of Lex Luthor. Love his plans for California.

I’ve never been into comic books or Marvel movies. I pretty much skip all of them.

I’ve always had a place in my heart for Nightcrawler. A superhero born from two villains.
