Yes, that’s why I was really hoping Stafford could stay healthy down the stretch and actually complete a 16 game season. His trade value has seriously dropped after being injured the past few seasons. Teams are going to have concerns before trading for him, he broke his back last year, then his thumb, then ribs, then ankle, he’s starting to fall apart after 12 years of getting smashed.
If the new GM is going to go full rebuild, Stafford needs to be traded for draft picks. It clears salary cap money and gives us more picks. I’m just not sure how much we can actually get for an often injured QB that’s never won a playoff game. For the record, I own a Stafford jersey and admire his toughness, but his career is trending in the wrong direction.
