Jared Goff is our QB NOW and John Matthew Stafford used to be our QB -then. , it’s history for Matt-damn he’s playing for The Rams , I’m perfectly happy with Goff.
No problem at all with the matchup, but it’s team vs team. Stafford vs Goff is a dead horse. But I’m sure there will be brain dead talking heads running there mouths.

Now, Kelly, we still love You, Matt, and the Girls, but, you have to understand, Matt chose this.
So, if you’re reeding these threads, just realize that, during game week/day, Matt chose to be the enemy. We’re obligated to treat him as such. I’m pretty sure it’s the law.

Oh geez this again. Can someone please remind me of the 3 definitive reasons this board came up with for why Goff is 1000x the QB that Mathew is?
Bonus, can you share the definitive reason that Christen is 1000x the mother that Kelly is despite only being a mother for a year?

Goff is 2-1 vs Stafford, winning both home games and losing in 2021 in LA… That was before the resurgence. Hopefully Lions fans take over that stadium… LA has a horrible fan base.

95% of this fan base thinks both QBs are good, have a lot of respect for both QBs, and are happy that both QBs were/are part of the Lions.
5% of this fan base seems to hate one or the other and drives these ridiculous conversations trying to tear one or the other down.
Both QBs are in the top tier of QBs in the league and we’re lucky to have transitioned from one of them to the other.

The battle of the stats! Matthew Stafford has 32 TD’s and only 4 INT’s and his team is 9-3! But he threw the most pick 6’s since 2009! But Goff has the most TO’s since 2017! But Goff has the higher career QB rating! But Stafford won a SB! But when Goff wakes up at 8:07 AM, eats 3.5 Frosted Flakes, hair parts at a slight 40 degree angle, Dan Campbell drinks his 9th black coffee of the day, three clouds shaped like kneecaps over Lake Michigan, and a full moon rising over Eight Mile… it is scientifically undeniable that Goff is the better QB.

We still have the edge in overall talent vs Rams. We’ve just been inconsistent across the board. Lions can make it a double digit win if they show up.
The only board we are consistent on, is the IR board.
