Its nice to have better players and more leadership. Finally having some money to spend helps as well. I think Brad and Dan will always try to scrape the bottom of the barrel to see if there are some hungry players who are willing to suit up and prove themselves with the Lions. But I don’t think that was Brad’s overall approach and mindset to every roster move. We just didn’t have the money to do much else.
Once Mosely gets back, we’ve got 7 quality starters (KerJo, Walker, Branch, CGJ, Sutton, Jacobs, Mosely) for five spots. Just love that room now. They’re all gonna learn from one another. Three years from now, I’d love to see Branch, CGJ, and KerJo be the veteran dogs.
