Theres at least 25 players that they could cut tomorrow with 0 dead cap.

Yes, without having any information into their thought process, it would be playing smartest guy in the room to assume anything regarding what Brad and Dan are thinking.
Or it just seems like the last two roster spots are camp bodies who will be here for a month and then cut.

They are holding the last 2 spots for Davenport and Moseley once they pass their physicals in 2037. 
But my point is why leave it open? Theres no down side of signing 2 more bodies. 0. Because if a player they want becomes available. You can cut one of the 25+ players instantly with 0 cap hit.
Brad is a smart man. He knows to plan for surprising 2s. Better than learning that the hard way.
No idea. Maybe they have a specific couple guys theyâre waiting on - either injuries or theyâre deciding between a couple of teams. Anyoneâs guess is as good as good as mine. Unless that guess is âseems like smartest guy in the room stuffâ. Iâm sure there is probably some reason.
I mean, hell, the Rams only have 85 under contract according to OTC and Iâve been told that theyâve already won the Super Bowl, so maybe we have too many signed.

Câmon, @DBend144 . Do you really think itâs an oversight on their point or that they have no answer to your question. I have no idea but doesnât seem like much of a stretch to assume that they have solid reason for doing that. Nor does it seem remotely likely that it hurts the Lions AT ALL to not have hypothetical players #s 90 and 91 in the mix.
What we need to solve this problem is 19 new spreadsheets, a couple of graphs, maybe a few pie charts, and a few @frm710 âs 13 percent beers.

Nothing really begins until training camp. There might be vets that donât want to show up to the âVoluntaryâ OTAâs and they donât want to be criticized in the press for not showing up.
Really doesnât mean a thing.
