Why its so Frustrating that the Lions are Good

I know the 4 major sports are VASTLY different in terms if how fast you can turn a franchise around HOWEVER.

The last time each of the 4 was a true contender.

Lions -2 years 26 days ago. Thats how long the Lions have been a contender.

Tigers 11 Years since the Tigers have been true Contenders (2014 Playoffs)

Red Wings: 12 years 124 days since the Wings have been true contenders (2013 playoffs)

Pistons: 17 years 208 days. Dear lord. (2008 playoffs) some freshman in College weren’t even born yet.

Im talking real contender. Under +1000 odds to win the championship.

Tigers need to make some real moves this winter to get into that category.

Wings? They need a lot. And havent done squat.(22nd best odds)

Pistons might be close. But they need to make a move to get over that hump. Currently +4000 to win the Finals. (14th best odds)

I know those leagues take more time. But i feel like they have been stagnant the last 2-3 years. With no attempt to actually get to that next level from Bubble playoff team to true contender

I love the fact that this team is good , look how many decades they sucked, to me it’s exciting to be winning and earning respect from many others, even a few players from other teams. what frustrates me is the shit, scam, media anymore. you used to point out 6 different media guys that knew their stuff, now your lucky if you have 3. injuries frustrate me to, otherwise not whining or complaining, while we are winning.
