Outside of U alums and south Florida, will anyone be rooting for Miami in the championship? It feels like 95% of the country will be pulling for the Hoosiers.
Related… who was the more likeable underdog for college football, Indiana or Boise State?

Indiana does not feel like an underdog. But yet they are 100% are an underdog in the grand scheme of things.
But the beatings they are giving are epic.
A few people think that Miami has the trenches to at least contain and control Indy. I am not sure I agree anymore. I think the only way Indy loses is if injuries pile up especially on defense where they have little depth.
Will be an interesting game for sure. Because Miami has a team focused on the “beef” on both sides of the ball. And I think UM proved that pure mass and physical play can eliminate any advantage a team might have due to speed and scheme. Basically make every game a rock fight and make sure you have the best rock fighters on earth. Simplify the game down to blocking and tackling and eliminate all the gimmick stuff.
I just can’t believe it is a 10 day break
Rooting against Indiana should be a deportable offense
Miami appears to have more horses, but so has pretty much every other top tier team Indy has beaten. Imo people are still kind of down playing the elite coaching, discipline, and play execution that Indy has. Maybe Miami can simply out muscle Indy, but they wont out-football-game Indy.
I don’t like either team.
IU is going to smoke them.
Indiana winning would be great for college football. I think everyone is tired of watching the same small handful of teams winning over and over.
So far they are smoking everyone. They took OSU, Bama, and Oregon to the woodshed. That is impressive as hell.
And in 3 straight games
And all 3 had way more “elite” players
My only complaint and something that would have changed things in my opinion is having those 3 games in a 14 day span like a normal season. That is where the depth comes into play.
Indy reminds me of those early Saban teams were giving them 2-3 weeks to game plan and get healthy was almost a certain beating
I meant more as a historically non-power football team than whether or not they’re be betting favorites.
CFB functions best with Miami as a a formidable heel.
Oh I completely agreed with you
Second sentence I thought clarified
They are an all time underdog
The only shame is that they are not beating say an old school blue blood program
How could you not cheer for this guy!
