Good for him. Bad for the Saints.
A roster with no Will Harris upcoming?! Rebuild is officially over.
Good for him.
I never had any off-the-field issues with him.
@DeadStroke what’s the cutoff date for comp free agents signings for the formula?
If somehow Will Harris is a qualifying signing.
That means because we didn’t keep Zach Ertz on the active roster we won’t get a comp pick for Jonah now.
Ertz woulda put us over the edge if Will Harris qualifies
I was hoping he would go to the 49ers or at least the Bears or Green Bay.
What kind of draft pick did Lions give them?
Oh…… wait…. you mean….
they willingly took him away from our roster???
.
Championship
You mean like somehow the Saints signed Harris for $2.5M?
I’d bet the farm it’s vet minimum ($1.125M), maybe a $167,500 signing bonus.
If they did…
Prepare for me to lose my sh*t
Compensatory Free Agents (CFA) signings expire soon (if not already), it’s always right around the draft as the deadline to sign a CFA.
Edit: Yep, it’s expired, expired Monday following the draft. Interestingly, The Saints have a 7th rounder coming, so it’s possible that they held off signing Will Harris until after the compensatory free agent period . . . still hard to believe that Harris would get $2.5M.
What are the chances we get a third round pick for Jonah? Maybe that’s why brad didn’t mind trading it this year?
0% Jonah would have qualified for a 3rd if he was healthy this year, but we signed too many UFA’s compared to what we lost.
OTC’s compensatory pick projection is always pretty much spot on.
He got 2.5 from us last year
I bet he gets 3 mil
Let’s hope Amik is worth a 3rd rounder then…
Ill take that action!
