Will the Lions give Freddie McGee his shot?

You have to admire the grind

Hope he gets a try out

Few AFL guys can make it in the NFL. He’d be fighting for a PS spot.

Local kid so it wouldn’t cost the Lions anything to take a look at him but time?

They got defensive backs lining up outside the practice facility begging to get hurt. My brother, have some good health insurance okay?

Yep… But I hope he gets that chance… Making the PS from the AFL would be a huge step forward for him (and a massive bump in pay) and then from there, who knows. The Lions had 2 UFL players contributing last season… I bet he gets a try out this spring

I admire the tenacity, but rewarding this kind of stunt seems like opening Pandora’s Box.

My dude as soon as he puts on the practice uniform and sets foot on the field, Vecna gonna reach up from beneath the turf and start snappin legs and shit like all last 2 years.

I like it. Simple invite to camp.

It does open up Pandora’s box, but you‘ll know anyone after this is just piggybacking. Take your shot kid.

I thought that at first, but I also don’t think many people have the same humility. You have to swallow a lot of pride to stand outside a football facility holding a sign like that. Like I said, I admire the grind. Perhaps the attention this is getting will get him an opportunity on one of the other 31 teams around the league. Who knows. Seems like a good kid though.

I mean, we got our kicker from a sub-standard football league, so why not a corner? He could be our Kurt Warner.

Well we need depth and he would be fighting for a PS spot. He’s local so it costs us nothing to give the kid a look.

I’d see how he blitzes. If he runs right to a blocker and just stands here, he’d be perfect.

Someone run out there and kick him in the shin. When Holmes sees him hopping on one leg he’ll sign him on the spot.
