He had a pretty good year in AHL last season. I’d assume with the 100 goallies the Wings have now, that Campbell will be Cossa’s backup in GR.

Purely a GR signing.
Most teams carry 5 goalies on the top 50. And ~10 on the entire 90.
Wings have 10 total but 6 on the top 50. Some one is getting shipped out
Maybe the Wings are going to try a new strategy. It’s called the 2-1-3 formation. 2 forwards, 1 defenseman, 3 goalies. Mandatory for each goalie to get into a fight each game.

Used to watch him when he was a teenager with the Windsor Spitfires, he was a total stud and considered a sure fire pro. I guess he is, just not in the NHL.

Jack is a great teammate. Everyone loves him. His goaltending is hit or miss. He’s a bit fragile mentally.
As an Oiler fan I can tell you that he’s a mental mess but when he’s on he’s an above average starting goalie. Good guy, hope it works out for him in Detroit. Should be a better situation for him being in a far less pressure environment.
