They Sam and Puka are both primarily pass catchers.
Puka has objectively been more productive catching passes than Sam.
Puka is on pace to break the rookie wide receiver yards and receptions record himself.

LaPorta also plays a big role in the Lions 2nd best rushing offense in the nfl. LaPorta rarely comes off the field.

I guess I’d view it like this, is Puka or Stroud a top 3 in the NFL guy at their respective positions in year one? No. Is LaPorta? Yes.
