They Sam and Puka are both primarily pass catchers.
Puka has objectively been more productive catching passes than Sam.
Puka is on pace to break the rookie wide receiver yards and receptions record himself.
I love Sam but Puka has been better and that’s 0kay

LaPorta also plays a big role in the Lions 2nd best rushing offense in the nfl. LaPorta rarely comes off the field.
Puka’s stats are freaken wild though. Dude might catch 110 passes as a rookie

On a per game basis there is. His rookie passing yardage output is almost ten percent beyond any other QB in history. We’ll see how voters deal with the injury issue. Stroud needs to come back, play well and guide the Texans to the playoffs to win it.
LaPorta won’t beat out Nacua even if his season is perhaps even more historically great relative to his position.
I guess I’d view it like this, is Puka or Stroud a top 3 in the NFL guy at their respective positions in year one? No. Is LaPorta? Yes.

There’s a reason why the 14th highest paid wide receiver or quarterback makes more money than the highest paid tight end in NFL history.
Come on now.

LaPorta can play Fullback.
That’s cool he’s still not having a better season than Puka.
Hell I’m pretty sure Puka has lined up in the backfield as often as Sam has this year so Puka can play running back since we are throwing out a handful of snaps as proof another position can be played
