Lovett is a hoot. I don’t know what he’ll do on the field, but he’s got talent in front of a microphone. I hope he hangs around for a while just because of the ad libs.
One thing to remember is that the Tennessee Titans and their ownership group are a-holes and petty AF. Let me explain. When the Browns went to Baltimore, they changed their name to the Ravens and allowed Cleveland to retain its history, uniforms, etc. Even the record books show the Ravens like they are an expansion team founded in 1996. The current Cleveland Browns, who are an actual expansion team founded in 1999…have a history that dates back to the 1940’s with a small gap in the years between the time the team left and the new team was formed. Its interesting to note because when the Colts left Baltimore, they took all of that with them. They did not afford Baltimore the ability to keep its history in the event that it got a new team.
But back to Houston. The Oilers owner moved the team to Tennessee and took everything about the team with him. So even though they became the Titans, they still own all of the Oilers history and rights to the uniforms, color scheme, etc. Not only that, but the Titans ownership group is so petty that they keep tabs on everything Houston does with their uniforms, promotions, etc and file a complaint every time it even remotely looks like they are mimicking the Oilers or using Oilers history. The NFL then tamps down on what Houston is trying to do. Which includes rejecting uniforms that have the classic Oilers blue colors in them. The most the NFL allowed them to do was outline their numbers with it, and use a logo with the color in it. Anything more than that was rejected.
And to cap off the petty part I was talking about, the Titans rub it in the Texans face by wearing the old Houston Oilers throwbacks when they play eachother. Here is an article with the Houston owner expressing frustration about the situation, and giving some perspective on why they are not able to incorporate as much Oilers blue as they want to. They know the fans want it.
I think Levi is seen as more of a DE and will have some DT snaps as a pass rusher
McNeil is 100% starting the season on PUP so won’t count as a roster spot
Those of you thinking Wingo will be cut before the season are on drugs… only way he gets cut is if he plays this year and is horrible
Oh I know, I have an ill-tempered buddy from Houston who grew up an Oilers fan and is now a Texans fan and I have to stay clear whenever the Titans are wearing their old unis. It drives him crazy.
Pretty sure the Texans have beat them every time they’ve played the “Oilers” though. Maybe Tennessee should think twice about who they play when they’re wearing them.
Completely agree, not a chance. Even if he’s struggling we’ll just say he had a setback and put him on IR or something. No way we’re letting him go. He’s Levi’s replacement eventually.
I think Levi will be in the Commish role which I think is more or less the same as what you’re saying.
Btw, someone covering the off-season should call their coverage:
The Pride Before The Fall
Well considering who is suggesting Wingo might get cut…this is harsh. AIR doesn’t say things like this out of no where. It’s a talking point. If he is suggesting it its being talked about elswhere as well. And no Levi is not seen as a DE. He is played at DE out of necessity but its not ideal.
I think they see Levi as a DL with positional flexibility.
Fixed it for you! Now starting at Right Guard for your Detroit Lions… He’s number 69 on the field and number 1 in your hearts… Tate Ratledge ladies and gentleman!
Ratledge and Sewell side by side! Simply glorious. I fully expect Sewell to grow a mullet soon.
Just givr Brad his ■■■■■■■ statue now.
I’ve been on board with it for years!

And no Levi is not seen as a DE. He is played at DE out of necessity but its not ideal.
I completely agree.
I’m pretty sure Levi will be the opening day starter at 3T.
Williams should get plenty of playing time at NT and 3T.
Wingo’s injury wasn’t as sever as Alim’s so he should be available some time in camp.
It seems a pretty difficult path for BroMart to make the 53. He will have to continue to develop on the Practice squad unless a light suddenly comes on this summer.
The depth of the Interior D-Line is encouraging.

Williams should get plenty of playing time at NT and 3T.
Yup - let’s figure out exactly what this cat is…

Looks so easy. But very difficult catch. I like a lot.
Torching undrafted rookie corners in pajamas… Give me that koolaid!
I didn’t see that as torching the CB–CB did a good job— I seen it as making a nice play on the ball, showing outstanding Athleticism.
Beet runoff? Lol better be some vodka in there.
I wonder if Dan was purposely playing Ratledge & Frazier at cross training positions knowing that the Media would not have access after friday.
Ratledge repped mostly at Center with some RG while Frazier spent time at RT and RG.
Neither Ratledge nor Frazier repped at LG, the weak spot on the Lion O-Line.
Glasgow, Mahogany, Ratledge and Frazier are all better / more experienced at RG.
I’m not worried about RG.
Whoever wins that position will play well between Ragnow & Penei.
I’m curious as to who will start OTA’s as the starting LG.
Glassgow may start OTA’s as a starting Guard if only because he is the vet incumbent.
I wonder which side it will be.
It will be very difficult for Glassgow to hold off all 3 young guards.
Glassgow probably has more experience at LG than the others but it is also his weaker side.

Glasgow, Mahogany, Ratledge and Frazier are all better / more experienced at RG.
I’m not worried about RG.
I believe Mahogany did start one full season at left guard in college.
