Would rather face Stafford than Jordan Love

I refuse to accept, at this time, that Green Bay can move from one HOF QB (Favre) to another HOF QB (Rodgers) to a 3rd HOF QB in Love. Love also hasn’t proven he’s a tier 1 (Burrow, Allen, Mahomes, Jackson) QB as of yet.

The Packers also have a good young receiver room.

I attribute some of Goff’s struggles to OL injuries and Ben / Campbell being too cute at times.

No way do I want the Rams. Anyone but the Rams. Stafford’s playing good and they’ve won 6 of their last seven games. I’m a 50 year Lions fan. I remember watching them win their last playoff game and I hope they make a deep run, but I can just see Stafford winning his first playoff game in Detroit. I’ve held my enthusiasm in check all year expecting a return to “reality, same old Lions” shit. Now, when I actually want to get a little bit excited, I have to use some extra self discipline.

Comeon y’all. A thread fearing which QB we fear losing to most is so old Lions. Cringe

Which QB would you rather see us beat round one?

For me it’s Love and Green Bay. Because my hatred for Green Bay runs deep

Though a catharsis of beating the Rams and Stafford with Holmes and Goff exorcises alot of demons for this team

In either case, they are coming into Ford Field and we are going to punch them in the mouth

Scientificly it would be impossible for the Lions to beat the Rams.

Hopefully yall get Green Bay.

I was in the boat as well. Though Stafford looked pretty rough in a must win against the Giants.

We’re better than the Rams or Packers though, so at shouldn’t fear either

Yes, indeed.

Honestly, it would suck to lose in round 1 in front of the home fans. And, for me, it would especially suck to lose to the Rams. But I definitely don’t “fear” the Rams or the Packers.

Kinda do fear the Ravens, tho.

Tannehill had a 2 year stretch where he threw 60 TD’s and 13 Int’s, Love has 30 TD’s to his 11 int’s this year.
Tannehill was a very good QB, Love is not comparable yet.

Not sold on Love yet. He shows flashes but is still inconsistent. If he’s 75% of Aaron they will be tough since they finally have a good team all around.

Stafford is 10x scarier.

This second half of the season the Packers have won games against so many teams with their wheels falling off and a good game against us and the chiefs. Theve had a cakewalk schedule, still losing to the giants and bucs. The rams have only lost 1 OT game against Baltimore. I think you are insane if you think Stafford is easier than Jordan love…

It took the Rams a dropped 2 point conversion and a missed fg to beat the Giants.

They aren’t setting the world on fire in their wins either

Exactly, that was not a major slight I was throwing to Love. Tannehill had 33 TD’s and 7 INT’s his 2nd year with the Titans. He didn’t scramble a ton, but he was athletic enough to move around well in the pocket and could take off for a decent gain if needed.

Some would argue he was a top 10 QB around that time. I think Love will be a fringe top 10 guy as well, but the majority of years he lingers in the 12-15 range.

Can’t wait until the Packers have to commit 50mil+ AAV to him on an extension.

Love is either going to regress a bit to a 28 TD and 13-15 INT guy next year, or throw 35 TDs and 7-9 ints

Aggressively predicting which is more likely is speculation at best. I hope he sucks, but fear might be good?

Yeah but packers actually lost to that team.

Love has played very well as of late, no doubt about that.

However, I would much rather face his team than Stafford and the Rams.

Would be a tough pill to swallow if we lost to Stafford.

I see little difference between the Packers and Rams. Pretty much the same team.

I don’t think it matters, not after Saturday. I truly believe there isn’t an NFC team that wants any part of the Lions. They were already good. Now they’re good AND pissed off. Minnesota is going to get merc’d Sunday, and every other team will be like “oh… well, shit.”

Stafford has more experience but Love is more mobile. I look forward to beating either of them

I’d honestly rather lose to the Rams than Green Bay at home. My hatred for the Pack runs deep

But……talking about who you’d rather lose to is cringe as fugg.

Let’s talk about who you’d rather beat. For me it’s the Packers for sure

We’re not gonna lose to either of 'em, brother!
