NO! but it is until they get the team ready to play at a high rate of wins then you add to many years chased wins buy players hoping they can get wins now they want to build young base of strength then add few high end lets say experience top end vets to help carry us to more wins If we needed a 16 mil WR we could have kept one we had

I agree with you 'yote. I like the direction I am sending and want to see the young build continue. Personally I would love to see the karma trade that sends him to Houston with Watson going to the Saints. But that may be too much to hope for.

You donât need to trade for someone like Thomas as the last piece to get into the playoffs or a Superbowl, you trade for him to build, to make your team better. This team is a lot more attractive to Free Agents if we have some names and we have a playoff teamâŚbut Thomas probably isnât going anywhere anyways, so it really is all just talk.

There is ZERO chance the Saints can trade him this year.
He has way too much of a dead cap hit from his signing bonus and the restructure they just did in March for the Saints to move him and stay under the cap.
And⌠they have nobody left to restructure.
Not 1 player. They have already done restructures with every possible high salary player.
And by purpose you mean they should only use the picks to try to go out and get good playersâŚbut not waste the picks by using them to go out and get good players?

Not this soon. Theyâre going to pick early. Wait until they can win 6, maybe 10 games then trade to fill in the few spots not filled by drafting. Rather trade 15th or later draft picks than 10 or sooner.
