Looks like @bols got some granny std
I haven’t watched wrestling in a long time. This guy was one of my favorites. His knees have to be shot. Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka. Piper’s Pit was cool. Macho Man.

Is that what you want to do @stephenboyd57 ?
I sure hope not. Socko is a good friend.
We need a rival. No more granny rivals. A Canadian vs a all American boy. You know im joking
Well, he passed away in 2017… so I bet they are by now. Superfly was great.
No worries bud. I appreciate the good laughs and shit talk. It’s the main reason I love the den. Tons of laughs and good insight.
Best 2 records in AL are Tigers and Jays… How cool is that ![]()
Hulk Hogan
Randy Orton
Goldberg
Mankind
Undertaker
I watched Wrestling 1986-1990 or 1991. From ages 6-10 or so. Really liked tag team and my favorites were The Rockers, Demolition, The Bushwackers and The Hart Connection.
Of the solo guys of that era I loved Superfly Jimmy Snuka (didn’t know about him allegedly murdering his girlfriend), Brutus the Barber Beefcake and Jake The Snake Roberts.
Rowdy Roddy Piper became my favorite once I discovered the existence of They Live.
Stories around him and his ability to absorb alcohol are legendary.
Apparently he never brushed his teeth as well.
Those were the days.
My first recollection of wresting was mid 70s when my dad took me to a big match at the IMA sports Arena in Flint:
Bobo Brazil vs the Sheik
Same place I went later to see Thomas Hearns/Sugar Ray Leonard I fight closed circuit PPV. Those were the days.
I saw Andre and the Junkyard Dog in a tag team match against Big John Studd and Ken Patera at Cobo.
Andre walked JYD into the ring on a chain then let him loose and helicoptered it over his head.
Good stuff.
