Dolph Ziggler cashing in his MITB contract was nuts. Biggest pop I’ve ever heard.

George the animal was a gym teacher at same time as his wrestling return. He was employed at madison heights schools. I believe he was at the high school. My dad was a 3rd grade teacher in same system and knew him.
Damn we went an entire thread without mentioning
Ric Flair
Wildfire Tommy Rich and Dusty Rhodes two of my earliest wrestling memories from the old TBS days and Saturday mornings.
One of Detroit’s finest school teachers from what I was told.
could not stand “The Honkey Tonk Man” .----I did like Braun Strowman.

Richard T. Bruiser.
He wasn’t with the WWF in the 80s when I watched wrestling as a youngster.
Not sure if anyone remembers, but there used to be a poster that was part of this community many many moons ago that dipped his toes into WWE style wrestling. I seem to remember him talking about the injuries he sustained while trying to make it into that profession. His name was Landon.
Just another in a long list of forgotten good souls that used be a poster amongst us other heathens.
Brocks a Beast but no one likes him. Not one mention.

Lesnar is seriously impressive. Amazing NCAA wrestler, 2 time All American, plus UFC heavy weight champion, plus WWE legend. If WWE was real…Lesnar would destroy everyone.
The most impressive dude there is really in the WWE ever.
But he’s not a strictly top 5 WWE hall of famer tho
He’s pretty well known for hurting other wrestlers in the ring. Lots of steroids and a loose cannon and crazy athletic for big man
Yeah, but he was a Viking, so ■■■■ him. I don’t make the rules.
Forgot he had a cup of tea in the nfl too. Crazy resume.
One of the greatest athletes ever
And baddest dudes ever
Which shows you how great of a sport Football
is
That dude couldn’t cut it ?!?!?!
But still got to an nfl training camp without playing college football… He hadn’t played football in 7 years since high school. That is nuts.
There might have been a publicity stunt aspect to it by that point, especially since he got hurt pretty bad right before the draft that year (motorcycle wreck iirc). That said his performance at the combine before the injury was definitely excellent:
4.65 40 at 283 pounds. Wow
