We have great coaches. But Id also wager every elite QB in NFL history had coaches that helped them develop and grow
And every SB winning elite QB has has elite weapons most likely a top Oline and probably a very good defense

Goff and cousin will get knocked around till they actually win a SB. Winning solves everything.
100%, which is why all the stafford hate blew my mind.
I think Goff could rank among all time qb playoff records.

Totally. I think even in the time Stafford was here Caldwell in particular helped him develop a lot as a player

Turnovers went down for sure. Stafford struggled a lot from having Megatron eyes. Meaning just chuck it to Megatron no matter what. It worked a lot. It also got picked a lot cause the defense had 2 or 3 dudes shaded his way. Stafford improved IMO when Calvin retired. It forced him to spread the ball around more and see the field better.

I think they improved his footwork quite a bit too. His completion percentage went way up. The touch on his short and intermediate passes improved.

Thats what I think, guy needs to hit the update botton. But for as good as Goff has been, when it’s was bad Goff it was pretty bad. It won’t be popular but Goff first 10 games here was some of the worst QB play I seen. Not sure about the Rams.
But Goff isn’t that guy anymore. He’s confident and he is the Lions Offense. He has help, a lot of it. But Goff is the General that makes it all work and what it is. The Guy needs to understand Jared has came into his own. He is a different QB then what played with Rams and in Detroit his first year. Imo

When people hate on Goff is makes me love him even more. His numbers are top 10 and you can make an argument that he is on the bubble for top 5.
I have Goff as the second best Lions QB of all time behind Bobby Layne.
2 playoff Wins, takes us to NFCC. Something I only seen once in my life as a Lions fan. When that happened I was in middle school. I really believe in my heart that the Lions have a legit shot to win the SB this year and Jared Goff is a big reason for that.
