So now that I have access to most of the streaming services known to mankind, well, seems that way, we were going to start watching Yellowstone this month.
The orginal has had at least one or two spinoffs iirc, what is the correct order to watch this series including the spinoffs?
thanks
Chronologically speaking and character development wise. But it came out Yellowstone, 1883 then 1923. All are really good IMHO. Up to you how to view them.
I havenāt seen any of the spin-offs but I watched all the Yellowstones. I mostly like the scenery and reminds me of living in Bozeman.
The subplots though are usually overly melodramatic and the foil characters are sometimes incredibly cartoonish. Especially the Jamie and Beth characters. Some of those scenes between the two where Beth goes on a five minute hate screed and Jamie just stares back like heās astral projecting are comical.
How do they film those without breaking into laughter I wonderā¦
Binge watched 1923 last week. Fantastic. So much better than Yellowstone that Iām only watching now out of obligation to finish. Mirren and Ford are national treasures and a joy to watch them bring these characters to life
Iām three episodes into 1883 and itās great. So far I like it better than 1923. The writing and dialogue to me is more impactful and I like that the āenemyā isnāt so derivative. In 1923 Timothy Dalton is a bit formulaic. Cliche villian. If only he had a curly mousyache to twirl
In 1883 so far the enemy is the journey, the perils and themselves. Itās outstanding acting writing and character development. And damn Sam Elliot steals every scene heās in. That dude can act an entire scene witn a look
