I just think that in general staying the course is a big part of leadership and at times an underrated trait when it comes to developing workers.
Obviously what I do for a living has nothing to do with football but still you train people a certain way and they have a bad shift, they deviate from the norm. Assuming the mistake doesn’t rise to a certain level you don’t just cut bait. You give them another chance or two. If the issue persists then you pivot. I just think it is way too premature to say “this Frazier plan isn’t right.” It’s one preseason game.
At the same time I understand that the world is thirsty for content so media folks are heavily incentivized to jump the gun.

One thing is for sure we are hardcore Lions fans talking about a backup olinemen for hours on a Sunday afternoon. My excuse is it’s pouring rain outside.

It was never part of Sorsdal’s profile the way it was with Frazier. The versatility was always built into the Frazier package for better or worse. That was honestly part of the critique that some had during the draft cycle. That he may not be NFL starter quality at any of the positions that he has played.
An OL that can set the floor at 3-4 spots can save your season. He may not be that guy but I applaud the team for trying to find out if he can be.

Speaking of Sorsdal I forgot he was even still on the team until I saw him playing right tackle last week.

Oh I completely understand needing a versatile player like him on the OL with a 46 man gameday roster. I’m just arguing the reason as to why he seems to be struggling
